Introduction

The Telphi Mobile App transforms your smartphone into a powerful business communication tool. Make and receive calls using your business number, access voicemail, manage contacts, and stay connected on the go. This guide will walk you through downloading, installing, and configuring the mobile app for optimal performance.

Before You Begin

Ensure you have your Telphi account credentials (username and password) ready. If you don't have an account yet, contact your system administrator or our sales team to get started.

Check that your device meets the minimum requirements for the Telphi Mobile App:

Network Requirements

For optimal call quality, ensure you have: WiFi (recommended) or 4G/5G cellular data with at least 100 kbps per call. Calls over 3G may experience reduced quality.

iOS Installation Guide

Follow these steps to install the Telphi Mobile App on your iPhone or iPad:

Open the App Store

Tap the App Store icon on your iOS device's home screen.

Search for Telphi

In the search tab, type "Telphi Business" or "Telphi VoIP" and tap search.

Verify the App:

  • Developer: Telphi Consulting LLC
  • Look for the official Telphi logo
  • Check the ratings and reviews

Download and Install

Tap the GET or cloud download icon, then authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password.

The app will download and install automatically (typically 1-2 minutes)

Grant Permissions

When prompted, allow the following permissions:

  • Microphone: Required for making calls
  • Notifications: Receive incoming call alerts
  • Contacts: Access your contact list (optional)

Installation Complete!

The Telphi app icon should now appear on your home screen. Tap it to launch the app and proceed to initial configuration.

Initial Configuration

Once installed, configure your account to start making and receiving calls:

  3. Enter server domain (if required)
  4. Tap "Sign In"

  1. Tap "Scan QR Code"
  2. Point camera at QR code

Push Notifications Setup

Push notifications allow you to receive incoming calls even when the app is closed, crucial for battery efficiency and reliability.
